Food Trip at SM Fashion Hall: Din Tai Fung and St. Marc Cafe!

Every New Year, my husband's family eats out. This year, we went to Din Tai Fung in SM Fashion Hall for a late lunch. Some of us arrived around 2pm and got a number already. We waited for almost 1 hour, watching these men make the Xiao Long Bao's. Well, I must say it was worth the wait.

The place was big but it was jam-packed during that day. We already pre-ordered while waiting for our seats. We got 2 orders each of 10-pc Xiao Long Bao, Truffle Xiao Long Bao, Pork Chop Rice, Chicken Cutlet Rice, Salted Egg Prawns and Salted Egg Buns. We also ordered unlimited refill of Hot Tea. The  Xiao Long Bao was sooo good we ended up ordering 2 more!!

These kids were so full and happy after our lunch.

For dessert, we went to St. Marc Cafe just across the hall, while some of the kids opted for BBQ Pork Buns from Tim Ho Wan (for dessert!?!) and Ice Cream from Jollibee.
